DESCRIPTION
OnShore Assembly, a leading manufacturer of technology products, is seeking a General Manager to oversee operations in Nashua, New Hampshire. This role involves managing manufacturing strategies to meet production goals and quality metrics. The ideal candidate will have five to ten years of leadership experience in PCB Assembly and strong communication and problem-solving skills. RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Excellence: Manage daily manufacturing operations including SMT lines, PCB assembly, testing, and box-build processes, with working knowledge of cable and harness assembly.
P&L Management: Own site profit and loss, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue, capacity expansion, and technology upgrades.
Customer & Vendor Relations: Serve as primary point of contact for key customers and manage supplier relationships, especially for critical component sourcing.
Team Leadership: Mentor and build a high-performing manufacturing team including engineering, production scheduling, purchasing, shipping and receiving, QA, and business development.
Safety: Champion a safety-conscious culture and enforce compliance with all health and environmental regulations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: 10+ years of progressive leadership in electronics manufacturing (PCBA/SMT), with 5+ years in a senior management or plant manager role.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Operations Management.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing, SMT, and electronic components.
Skills: Proven ability to drive lean manufacturing, capacity planning, and process improvements.
Leadership: Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic decision-making abilities.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)
Meeting customer shipping schedules.
Ensuring quality without excessive rework.
Controlling overhead, labor, and inventory.
Optimizing machine and labor productivity.

DESCRIPTION
Develop and create documentation of assembly methods and techniques for Electronic Assemblies
Program new assemblies using Aegis CircuitCam Software to create color-coded drawings and programs for SMT Pick and Place Equipment using Aegis Alcad software and other software programs utilizing customer-supplied electronic files. Mydata experience is preferred but not required.
AOI Programming and debugging.
Review customer documentation and generate an internal process labor router specific to the operations needed during assembly.
Release new and repeat order documentation, including document packages, to the production floor for assembly.
Update Mydata Placement and AOI programs as needed.
Maintain Document Control for Electronic Data, including Gerber Files, Customer Documentation, Cam Data, Revision levels, ECOs, active and archived engineering documents, etc.
Assist Sales on Labor Quotes in an efficient time frame.
Review PCB manufacturing processes with efforts towards continuous improvement to decrease potential defects and improve efficiency.
Support QA Management in Document Controls and provide floor support with Production Management and Production Employees in a team environment.
Communicate with customers as needed
Strong Computer skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School degree or equivalent and at least 5+ years experience in a PCB production environment (CM) preferred. AS or Technical Certificate is preferred but not required.
Placement equipment knowledge is required; Mydata experience is preferred.
AOI programming and Debug experience is required. Familiarity with benchtop Systems such as N-Spec and Mirtec is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of PCB programming software is required; CircuitCam is preferred.
Experience ordering and reviewing PCB Assembly production tooling, including knowledge of ordering SMT stencils, is preferred.
Knowledge of IPC 610 and ISO 9001-2015 Standards is helpful
